Fraunhofer IZM focuses their R&D-work on microsystem technology. In addition to processes for the production of miniaturized ultra-thin systems, this also includes the preparation of components (thinning, encapsulating, laminating), the material selection and modification as well as the simulation. The IZM develops and qualifies technologies for system integration, e.g. in textiles or stretchable substrates.
